Oil Pastels

The boys finished up this month art class with these beautiful poinsettia oil pastels. They were so proud to show me their work. They love the art wall we've created in our entryway hallway. It's a showcase of all the work they have done. I will need to find some nice frames for these before they go up. But they will look fabulous on the wall. Elijah's Work

Homeschool Christmas Party

What happens when you have a group of amazing homeschool families at Christmastime? You have an amazing Christmas party. There was pizza, cookies, crafts and Christmas music in the background. So many kids so much fun. It was actually hard to capture everything with a camera but here are some highlights.


These were so cute. They were pop up Christmas decorations. The kids had so much fun designing their own Christmas scenes.

Reading a story about the true meaning of Christmas. Then they decorated cookies that symbolize a part of the Christmas story.

Look at baby bear holding her marker and making her bag. Yes I let my 1 year old use a marker.

So Hannah was very very quiet and we soon found out why. She stumbled upon a plate of decorated cookies and helped herself. Luckily the owner of the cookies was not upset and let her finish off the angel one. She made such a mess.

Jingle Bell Race 2010 Bellingham

My sweet friend Melinda and I did this years 4 mile Jingle Bell Race for Arthritis in Bellingham. It was so much fun. We've been running together for a few weeks getting ready for today's race. It's been a blast. I had my own time I wanted to beat 33:30 and I came in at 32:29. Melinda did awesome! She really just started running and she came in at 35:30....there were MANY runners behind her. I am sure we'll be back again next year. Don't you love our tights?

The Lights of Christmas

Last night we went to the Lights of Christmas. It was AMAZING. I have never seen so many lights. Hannah has learned a new word "ohhhhhhhh" said with amazement. I didn't actually take a lot of pictures of the lights. I was too busy enjoying them and my batteries were quickly dying so I saved them for more pictures of the KIDS of course. The Manger Scene

BP Christmas Party

Every year the company Peter works for puts on a Christmas Party for the kids. They go all out. They have tons of games, food and prizes. They loved it last year and this year was just as awesome. Hannah loved the inflatables they had throughout the party. She wanted to touch every one of them.

They all got a gift. The boys got Lego's and Hannah got a wooden peg puzzle.

Wreath Making

Our amazing homeschool group has done it again!(we are so blessed) This week it was wreath making (or a centerpiece which Elijah chose to do) Some awesome moms worked hard on gathering all the greens and cute decorations. Then the kids did their thing. They had a blast making them and there were smiles all around.

I don't know why Eljah insisted on playing with the wire cutters, but he kept playing with them.
