Gingerbread People

I am really enjoying this season with my kids. We are doing a 25 days of Christmas devotional to prepare our hearts for the Promised One (if you want a copy email me and I'll send it to you) Each day we learn a little bit more about God's plan to send Jesus. Then the kids add a page to their Christmas book. So far we have learned. 1. God's Word is eternal 2. God created all things 3. God is perfect. I am so blessed to see how excited the boys are to do this every morning. It's such a great way to keep their focus on the true meaning of Christmas, and for me too!

I was really in the mood to make gingerbread people yesterday. So we made the dough in the afternoon and then after dinner rolled them out and decorated them. WOW they are so good and the recipe we used couldn't be more simple. I'll post it after the cute pictures.

Yummmmmy. Kid decorated, daddy approved!
Great way for kids to decorate with frosting. Put the frosting in a plastic bag, seal it up tight, snip the end.

I have no make up on so excuse the face. I used the timer option on my new camera...it's awesome. I love early Christmas presents. Thanks Honey!
